The location of the shots were also planned with great care; the woodland being a representation of the calm, Indie side to the genre and the electric-acoustic being the Rock aspect. The images were relatively difficult to capture as the sun was setting which means we had little natural light, also it was hard to pick a day where it hadn't been raining. It was also difficult to capture a picture where my shadow wasn't present, as you can see in the examples above, my shadow creates a huge draw back when capturing the image.
Overall, the images taken for the cover and contents of Good Vibes are meant to promote the Indie ideology to Indie-Rock and let it be a factor which enables the magazine to stand out from the conventional shots of celebrities up close. The images were a great difficulty to take, however, they will be of great use in making Good Vibes.
